Healthy Ageing Coaching
The average lifespan has increased significantly over the past few decades, but the average healthy lifespan has not. This means that many people are spending a large percentage of their lives in suboptimal health.
Healthy ageing coaching is designed to help you maintain your well-being and quality of life as you age. It combines elements of traditional Chinese medicine, particularly the concept of yangsheng, or "nourishing life," with evidence-based practices to improve health and minimise the risk of age-related diseases.
In addition to more generalised approaches to healthy ageing, we will take an individualistic view and work together to create a plan that is suited to your unique constitutional needs. We will also explore ways to foster a positive attitude towards ageing and work around any specific challenges that it presents.
I am not a doctor and do not offer my clients medical advice. However, holistic health coaching can provide many benefits that your doctor may not, including:
A safe, non-judgmental space to tell your story - and feel truly heard
A focus on maintaining general wellness as well as managing symptoms
Better understanding your health using paradigms from around the world
Connecting the dots between various symptoms or complaints
Signposting to relevant services and healthcare professionals in your area
Sourcing research studies and helping to make sense of them if necessary
